Great American Cleanup
Every year, the District partners with residents, businesses, and volunteer organizations across the city for the annual Great American Cleanup, the largest litter prevention and beautification project in the country. The 2003 campaign, "Show Your City Some Love—Don't Trash It," ended May 31, 2003, and was a smashing success that targeted the city's five Main Street programs.
